Water Works Industry Solution’s (WWIS) mission is to
provide our customers with the best products and
customer services available. Our goal is to increase
the educational training within the waterworks
industry and to raise the awareness and standards

of training required to work within the field through the creation of a simple multimedia-training tool.

WWIS was created in 2003. Our team is made up of experienced professionals in education, multimedia
design and the waterworks industry. For over 3 years we researched and interviewed laborers, trainers,
foreman, water districts, distributors and manufacturers to find the problems they face in the industry and
devise a possible solution. The core industry problems revolved around the shortage of laborers and the need
to train them quickly and efficiently, cutting down on repairs and voided warranties due to incorrect
installations, water conservation efforts by limiting leaks and water main breaks, and above all safety while
performing any task.

We believe that education is the key to finding an answer to these problems. Our training series is comprised
of introductory lessons created to help supplement and aid in the understanding and safety of the most

common waterworks parts, how they are used in the
field and their general installations. The lessons are
performed by experienced veterans in the waterworks
industry and specific lessons contain manufacturer
approved installations. Each lesson contains basic

safety, reading and understanding the O.D. chart and demonstrating the complete installation commonly
practiced in the field with a 3D animated review.

We know that our research and dedication to creating a better training program will help and inspire a
greater sense of respect and motivation in the industry. We feel these lessons can aid and encourage a solid
unified training program nationwide.
